 ILI will conduct International conference in December 2009
ILI plans International Conference in December 2009. The conference will be conducted in collaboration with the University of Greenwich. The theme of the conference will be on THE ROLE OF LEADERSHIP AND GOOD GOVERNANCE TOWARDS THE ACHIEVEMENT OF THE Millennium Development Goals. Its particular reference will be on Sub Saharan Africa.

The purpose of the conference is to show the commitment of ILI in initiating debates in the area of leadership and governance. ILI sees research as a major part of its focus in the economic and management development of Africa; and the dissemination of research results as part of it. The Research Conference scheduled of December 2009 is intended to have the following major specific objectives, for both ILI and University of Greenwich.
 
  • To provide forum for scholars to address issues of concern to the overall development of the country and/or continent
  • Identifying Research themes based on presented papers
  • Enhance knowledge exploration, simulation and dissemination
  • Promote the presence of ILI and University of Greenwich in Ethiopia and beyond
  • Contribute to knowledge in the area of leadership and good governance
