ILI and IFPRI/KCID top officials conduct consultative meeting
The ILI and IFPRI/KCID (knowledge and capacity strengthening division) top officials conducted a consultative meeting on issues as to how both parties can work together. ILI Management made a Strategic Issue Identification retreat 
The ILI management made its first retreat to Wolliso, Negash Lodge. In its retreat, the management identified core areas of work and strategies of implementation for the year 2009/2010. The core works (strategic areas) identified was Teaching and Training, Research and Publication, Consultancy, Student Services, IT and Library Facilities, and Collaboration. Establishing conference organizing committee – in this category, academic staff members from ILI and University of Greenwich will be selected. These staff members together identify collaborating organisations, participants and members from these organizations that are willing to work in the organizing committee of the conference. After the selection of these organizations, based on their merit to the conference (both as participants and collaborators), the chairpersons of the organizing committee will establish contact and give specific duties (as participants, as presenters, as discussants, etc) during the conference...Read More
